Followers of the Lord willingly and deliberately seek to follow Christ, to learn and to grow in community with others. The fruits of the Spirit found in Galatians 5 -- joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control -- cannot be learned apart from community with others, or a network of relationships.

Members of the Spiritual Growth Ministry Team plan, organize, initiate, and shepherd the various church educational programs that promote this network of relationships for spiritual development. These various educational programs include adult Sunday School classes, Bible studies, church renewal services, and other offerings that provide opportunities for growth in Christ.

We invite you to come and join us each week for study and worship at FUMC Sallisaw, where our mission is "Making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world."

Weekly Bible studies are offered on Wednesday mornings.

The first meets with teacher, Ann Bottorff at 9:30.

The second with teacher Nancy Wheeler meets at 11:00 a.m.

Wednesday evening Bible Study will begin again in September. Further

information will be posted here as it becomes available, or you may call the church
