At First United Methodist Church, one of the most important ways we work to fulfill our mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world is through our Simple Process of Discipleship which helps people grow as Christian disciples. We invite you to Get Connected in four ways.
Connect to God in Worship. Our Sunday Morning Worship Service is designed to help you grow closer to God by experiencing the grace of Jesus Christ through acts of worship.
Connect to Others in a Small Group. Our Sunday School Classes, Bible Studies, Adult Classes, Youth Group, and Wacky Wednesday Classes for Children are all designed to help you grow closer to others and to dig deeper into God's Word.
Connect to Ministry by Serving God in the Church. There are many ways for you to use your gifts to serve in ministry in the church. Work with our children and youth on Sunday morning or Wednesday afternoon. Sing in the Choir or make a joyful noise with our Praise Band. Cook for our Free Community Breakfast. Serve as a Greeter or Usher on Sunday morning. Go with one of our Mission Teams to serve those in need. Pray with our Prayer Team. These are just a few of the many ways you can serve in ministry.
