Outreach
The Outreach Team consists of members of the First United Methodist Church who volunteer for activities that put their Christian faith in action. We believe that meeting the needs of our neighbors will build a stronger community for all of us.
Some of the Outreach Team activities include:
Our Free Community Breakfast on the last Saturday of every month for anyone who wishes to come.
Supporting Catholic Charities.
Prison Fellowship Angel Tree.
Pastors' Fellowship December Food Baskets.
We have seen the blessings when we apply the concept of, "It is better to give than to receive." We invite everyone to work with the Outreach Team and experience this blessing.
The Outreach Team helps to fulfill our mission of "Making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world," by creating opportunities for the people in our church to serve God with our hands.
