Children's Ministries
     Our mission is to make disciples of all people for the transformation of the world.  We have a dynamic and diverse ministry for children.  We meet children where they are and invite them to have fun with Jesus while helping them with their personal faith journey.
 
Sunday School
Classes begin at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday.
 
Birth-3 years                Meet in the nursery with Bruce and Judy Grates, our nursery attendants.
 
4 yrs-Kindergarten      Meet with Mrs. Pat and learn Bible based truths for a strong foundation while having fun and being
                                      met on their level. 
 
1st-4th grade               Meet with Mrs. Linda and focus on Biblical principles in relation to everyday life.
 
5th-6th grade               Meet and have a blast while learning and finding the passion for Jesus Christ.
 
 
Wacky Wednesday
     On Wednesdays we offer a program starting right after school until 6:00 p.m.  Our Church Bus picks up the children from Sallisaw Schools and Central School and brings them to the church for a snack, children's choir, a lesson, and a meal.
 
     Snack time will always be a healthy snack from 2:45-3:30 p.m. with down time for the children.  Wacky Wednesday then begins at 3:30 with our Rally Time followed by Choir and Lesson Time at 4:00 p.m.  We would like to invite parents and family to join us for our Wacky Wednesday Meal at 5:30 p.m.  Wacky Wednesday concludes at 6:00 p.m.
 
     Wacky Wednesday is a great "pick-me-up" to get you through the week.  We have a LIVE B.I.G. motto:  Hear, See, and Live your Belief In God!!!!!
 
     We give our children the opportunity to learn Biblical principles all in a safe and fun learning environment.  We base all our meetings on three B.I.G. truths:
                     1.  God is a great BIG God!
                    2.  God loves us with a great BIG love!
                    3.  We are part of God's great BIG world!
 
     During class time children come to know the love of God through Jesus.  We incorporate art, theater, dance, laughter, sign language, discussion, imagination, education, entertainment, sight, sound, hands-on activities, games, crafts, snacks, Bible stories, worship, prayer, and much more.  This hour is packed full of fun and energy which encourages the children to grow in the love of Christ.
 
     On Wednesday, Planet 56 meets in the youth room.  Planet 56 is our 5th and 6th graders who meet to learn and expand on the love of Christ.  Their leaders are Mary Sue Mos, Natalie Maxwell, and Amber Long.  This meeting time is packed full of energy and fun!  They will learn scripture, have devotions, learn to serve, and make friendships that will help them experience God.
 
     We also have various events throughout the year with all age groups to further expand on what we do during the week.  Some activities include church camps in the summer, Mission Madness in July, skating parties, swim parties, and special trips.
 
     We are helping our students to grow as children of God by taking what they learn from Sunday School and Wacky Wednesday into their everyday lives.  Come join us on Sundays and Wednesdays for Wacky Fun!!!!!
